These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the CleanZen website and services (collectively, the "Services") operated by CleanZen Japan ("us", "we", or "our").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Services.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CleanZen Japan.

1. Services Description

CleanZen Japan provides residential and commercial cleaning services in the Gifu Prefecture area of Japan, combining traditional Japanese cleaning methods with modern technology.

2. User Accounts

2.1 Account Creation

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Services.

2.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Services and for any activities or actions under your password. We encourage you to use "strong" passwords (passwords that use a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols) with your account.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

3. Booking and Scheduling

3.1 Service Requests

You may request our Services through our website, by phone, or by email. All service requests are subject to our availability and confirmation.

3.2 Scheduling

Once we confirm your service request, we will schedule a date and time for the cleaning service. You agree to provide access to the premises at the scheduled time.

3.3 Rescheduling and Cancellations

If you need to reschedule or cancel a confirmed booking, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or rescheduling requests (less than 24 hours before the scheduled service) may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost.

If our cleaning specialist arrives at your location and cannot gain access to perform the service, a lockout fee equal to 50% of the service cost may apply.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Service Rates

Our service rates are provided on our website or upon request. Rates may vary based on the type of service, size of the space, condition of the space, and specific requirements.

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment via credit card, bank transfer, or other methods as specified on our website. Payment must be made in Japanese Yen (JPY).

4.3 Payment Timing

For one-time services, payment is due upon completion of the service. For recurring services, payment terms will be specified in your service agreement.

4.4 Late Payments

Late payments may be subject to a late fee of 5% of the outstanding amount. We reserve the right to suspend services until outstanding payments are settled.

5. Service Performance

5.1 Access to Premises

You are responsible for providing access to the premises on the scheduled service date. This may include providing keys, access codes, or being present to grant entry.

5.2 Preparation of Space

To ensure efficient cleaning, we recommend removing excessive clutter, securing valuables, and identifying any areas requiring special attention before our arrival.

5.3 Service Exclusions

Our standard cleaning services do not include:

5.4 Service Guarantee

We strive to provide high-quality cleaning services. If you are not satisfied with our service, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion, and we will re-clean the unsatisfactory areas at no additional cost.

7.1 Insurance Coverage

CleanZen Japan maintains comprehensive liability insurance to cover potential damages that may occur during our cleaning services. However, our liability is limited as described in this section.

7.2 Damage Claims

If you believe that our cleaning specialists have damaged your property during service, you must report the damage to us within 24 hours of service completion. Claims reported after this period may not be honored.

We will investigate all damage claims and, if we determine that the damage was caused by our cleaning specialists, we will repair, replace, or compensate you for the damaged item at our discretion.

7.3 Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to direct damages actually caused by our cleaning specialists during the performance of our services. We are not liable for:

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by you for the service during which the damage occurred.

8. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and confidentiality. Our cleaning specialists will not disclose any information about you, your home, or business to third parties, except as required by law or with your explicit permission.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Website Content

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of CleanZen Japan or our content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

9.2 Use Restrictions

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, or use any of the content from our website without our prior written permission.

10.1 Termination by You

You may terminate our services at any time by providing written notice. If you have a recurring service agreement, please refer to that agreement for specific termination terms.

10.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend service to any customer at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms.

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use our Services will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and/or by sending you an email notification.

Your continued use of our Services after such modifications will constitute your acknowledgment of the modified Terms and agreement to abide by them.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gifu, Japan.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
